Delfin supplies a range of vacuum units specifically designed for the suction and recovery of arc welding flux, with several options in terms of design, power and capacity:

Fixed units, made up of a suction unit (usually 2 or 3 HP) and separators of different size and capacity, available as a single chassis mounted equipment, or as separate units for easier fitting on the arc welding machine.
Mobile units, trolley mounted, made up of a suction unit and pre-separator.

FEATURES

The suction is provided by a suction unit of the side channel blower type, with direct coupling between the fan and the motor shaft and no transmission system. It is thus completely maintenance free, fit for round-the-clock 24 hours duty, very silent and provides outstanding suction performances; a safety thermic switch cuts off the motor in case of overheating.

The suction unit is protected by a polyester filer (filtration class L) which prevents the dust from getting into the motor, fit into a steel casing.
The collection unit is a steel (optional stainless steel) hopper, with a butterfly valve (operated by a manual spring loaded mechanism) to discharge by gravity the recovered flux. Inside the hopper are a rubber coated deflector (to reduce the abrasive effect of the incoming flux) and a sieve grid to separate the bigger particles from the finest flux.

The suction inlet has a diameter of 40 mm., which can be increased upon request.

In the chassis mounted version, the suction and collection units are assembled onto a sturdy epoxy coated steel chassis.
